CS144 Alternator Swap Harness 1993–1997 Toyota Land Cruiser / LX 450 (1FZ-FE)

If you’re upgrading your 80 Series to a CS144 high-output alternator, this harness makes the wiring portion of the swap clean, simple, and reliable.
The factory charging system on the 1993–1997 Land Cruiser and LX450 uses a Toyota oval 3-pin connector (IG–S–L). Most CS144 alternators use a GM-style regulator plug, which usually means cutting and splicing your factory wiring. This plug-and-play adapter eliminates the guesswork and lets you connect your high-output alternator the right way — no hacked wiring under the hood.
Whether your build includes a winch, dual batteries, lighting, onboard air, a fridge, or a full overland electrical system, a CS144 upgrade helps your 80 Series keep up with modern electrical demands — especially at idle.
Built in-house by TEQ Offroad for Land Cruiser owners who actually use their rigs. Finished in classic Toyota retro colors as a small nod to the heritage — even when you’re running GM charging power.

Why Upgrade to a CS144?
The factory alternator is typically 80–100 amps. Once you add modern accessories, charging performance — especially at idle — becomes a limitation.
A CS144 provides:
-
Higher output at idle
-
Support for winches and dual battery systems
-
Stable voltage for overland accessories
-
Proven durability for expedition and off-road use
